See You at NCS at Booth 226

NCS is a major exhibitor at the Air Force Information Technology & Cyberpower Conference, Montgomery, AL, August 27-29. As the premier cyber security annual event, the Air Force Information Technology & Cyberpower Conference (AFITC) returns to Montgomery. As a critical intersection of Air Force IT experts, prominent IT academics, and some of America's top cyber security companies, the AFITC offers a full slate of events and activities, with three days of speakers, expanded education/training opportunities, and an exhibitor-driven trade show that revolves around the ways we can better defend America from cyber attacks, advanced persistent threats, and proactively lead in this in this increasingly digital world.technet augusta

The AFITC Conference is the place where Air Force personnel and decision makers, as well as private industry IT and cyber security leaders, convene to not only share and review strategies but also explore the latest in cyber tools, software, and hardware. It is at this conference that experts review the increasingly complex and connected role that cyber plays in both the AF core mission and the private domain.

Theme: Cyber Vision of the Future: Mission Defense and Trusted Information

* Build a more lethal force through gaining and maintaining persistent information advantage for the Joint Force

* Assure AF core missions from threats in, through, and from cyberspace

* Enable effective and efficient integrated awareness derived from rapid processing, exploitation, and dissemination of decision-quality information.

This is the SAF/CIO A6 way of focusing on the National Defense Strategy implementation

At Booth 226 NCS is featuring a variety of technologies, including virtual desktops, rugged and SecureView cybersecurity for government and military.

Technology Solutions Being Displayed

NCS experts at the booth will demonstrate the industry's largest portfolio of the Zero Client desktops powered by PCoIP.  We are featuring the lightweight Cirrus LT Plus. The Cirrus LT Plus has a 15.6-inch HD display, numeric keyboard and a range of options, including webcam, WiFi, hot-swappable batteries, proximity card reader CAC reader, fingerprint reader and docking station.

Other NCS virtual desktop solutions there will include the Cirrus DT WiFi and the Cirrus DT 5220. The DT WiFi allows users to experience a secure, uncompromised PC experience in many places desktop computing is not full optimized. DT WiFi delivers unparalleled manageability, security, cost effectiveness and reliability using the power of PCoIP technology.  The DT 5220 Desktop features a new design, supports two displays, webcam support and offers Fiber SPF options.

Also at this show, NCS is featuring Getac's B300 ultra rugged notebook, the V110 fully rugged convertible, the S410 semi rugged notebook, the F110 fully rugged tablet and the X500 ultra rugged notebook.

The B300 delivers high performance, security and long battery life. The V110 is a compact and lightweight fully rugged convertible that quickly transforms from an 11.6 inch display notebook to a tablet computer. The S410 semi rugged notebook delivers strong performance, security and durability in a thin form factor. The F110 fully rugged tablet offers a 11.6 inch screen and thin and light design. The X500 fully rugged notebook offers a 15.6 inch display and the ability to add PCI and PCIe cards.

NCS is also promoting its leadership in SecureView cyber security for government and military.

Government and military workers often use virtualization tools at the endpoint to best access multi-level computing. Today, the preferred virtualization tool is SecureView, developed by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and implemented by NCS Technologies.

SecureView runs multiple securely isolated environments on one PC or workstation, with hardware-enforced security. This increasingly popular security solution is the result of extensive and continuing development work by AFRL, the open source community, Assured Information Security and NCS Technologies.

SecureView provides local application execution and concurrent access to multiple security domains. This supports mission requirements, giving analysts the needed performance to run advanced applications, assess threats and share findings across agencies. NCS Technologies systems approved for use include the Stratus MT and Stratus DT desktops and the Vortex MT and Vortex MDT workstations.

As you can see, NCS is offering an amazing array of technology solutions at Booth 226. Please stop by and see how NCS can be your preferred supplier for Air Force IT solutions.
