Desktop Virtualization and HP Solutions Highlight Solutions at Booth 5446

NCS Technologies, demonstrating partner products from HP, Teradici and others, are at HIMSS21, the can’t-miss health information and technology event, today through Thursday. This is where healthcare professionals connect for education, innovation and collaboration. Healthcare IT is a major emphasis of the show. If you are attending in person please join us at the Venetian-Sands Expo Center in Las Vegas, Booth 5446.

The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) is a global advisor, thought leader and member association committed to transforming the health ecosystem. As a mission-driven non-profit, HIMSS offers a unique depth and breadth of expertise in health innovation, public policy, workforce development, research and analytics to advise leaders, stakeholders and influencers from across the ecosystem on best practices. With a community-centric approach, our innovation engine delivers key insights, education and engaging events to healthcare providers, payers, governments, startups, life sciences and other health services organizations, ensuring they have the right information at the point of decision.

NCS and software partner Teradici deliver zero client VDI solutions for desktops and mobility that are secure, cost effective and easy to use and administer. Maintaining strong security policies remain extremely important in the healthcare industry.

NCS is also a leading supplier of virtual desktop technologies for federal, state and local government, the military, and commercial markets. In the last six years, our desktop and laptop solutions have been recognized for their strong security and effortless portability. NCS devices powered by Teradici software help IT managers maintain security and save money.

The Challenge of Healthcare Security and How Zero Client PCoIP Helps

Healthcare IT managers understand that work PCs used in healthcare settings and remotely in the home are often vulnerable to security breaches. For many administrators, using zero clients is the best solution for security concerns.  NCS Zero Clients are managed by VMware Horizon software and use the ultra-secure Teradici PCoIP remote display protocol.

NCS Zero Clients have no local OS. The operating system resides in the data center. Therefore, there is no persistent user data, no patches, updates or antivirus software needed. Security concerns are addressed within the data center. Of the various ways to virtualize at the endpoint, zero clients prove to be a highly effective solution. PCoIP is a high performance computer display protocol used in endpoint VDI. PCoIP from Teradici uses advanced compression to provide end users with rich content from the cloud or data center. PCoIP securely delivers applications or workspaces to the endpoint by compressing and encrypting pixels. More than 10 million VDI endpoints use PCoIP.

To manage virtualized endpoints, NCS recommends the Teradici All Access Plan.

Final Day of DSI Military Additive Manufacturing Summit

Posted by Katie Callahan on Jul 28, 2021 9:55:39 AM

NCS and nScrypt 3D Printing Solutions at Booth 18

Today is the final day of the DSI Military Additive Manufacturing Summit at the Tampa Hilton. NCS is featuring nScrypt solutions at Booth 18. NCS has the exclusive right to sell nScrypt’s 3D manufacturing system product line to the U.S. Government, along with nScrypt. NCS Technologies also has nonexclusive right to sell nScrypt’s product line to commercial customers in the U.S. NCS services the equipment that it sells.

The Defense Strategies Institute 5th Annual summit is designed as an educational “Town Hall” forum, where thought leaders and key policy-makers across military services, defense agencies, and civilian organizations come together for education and discussion.

Additive manufacturing methods are being quickly integrated across the Armed Services to increase the current level of capability, while reducing the cost of parts, in order to deliver greater operational flexibility to the warfighter and further enhance the defense industrial base.

nScrypt’s exceptional precision and volume control solve a chronic weakness of 3D Printing: repeatability within tight tolerances. Drawing from the largest palette of commercially available materials, the SmartPump™ and nFD™ Material Extrusion tool heads can be used to combine plastics, metals, ceramics, and composites in single builds with exceptional tolerance and control. Using nScrypt’s changeable pentips as small as 10 microns, smooth surfaces with fine features can be achieved, without post-build smoothing.

To meet with NCS and nScrypt 3D Printing experts, or for immediate information or a price quote, please contact Kyle Stromberg at 571.405.1059.
