HPE and its leading partners are discussing and demonstrating state-of-the-art strategies and solutions at the HPE U.S. Public Sector CTO Summit in Houston this week. A team of NCS executives is actively participating in the event.
HPE is a global edge-to-cloud Platform-as-a-Service company. HPE helps to connect, protect, analyze, and act on data and applications wherever they live, from edge to cloud, so insights can be turned into outcomes at the speed required in today’s complex world.
The keynote and follow up presentations have had a strong emphasis on AI strategy. One of the topics is Swarm Learning, a form of machine learning. This is AI training to remove bias and improve overall accuracy. The emphasis is on sharing insights, not data. This form of machine learning has built in block chain security.
One of the popular demonstrations at the event is HPE's Ezmeral Edge-to-Cloud Data Fabric for Hybrid Cloud, & Enabling Modernized Data Analytics. This demo shows how the HPE Ezmeral Data Fabric, RunTime, can be used for a micro services approach for distributed image and data processing. The demo showcases how clients create a global data footprint moving data around the world, across data centers, cloud providers and all the way out to the tactical edge.
Global Technical Leader Jimmy Bates at the event is also demonstrating the Multi-API capabilities, including S3, NFS and SMB. This demo is inspired by a military use-cases around the distributed data ingest, management, and security for data governance. A typical deployment of HPE Intelligent data pipeline; a secure cloud-native, AI-enabled intelligent data platform, modular, flexible, scalable and easy to deploy.
It includes a drone data capture example of a customer use case to illustrate how this can be deployed for improved mission outcomes.
