Town Hall and Panel Discussion at NCS Headquarters
NCS Technologies (NCS) recently hosted a town hall and panel discussion centered on opportunities for advanced manufacturing in Northern Virginia.
The event included Senator Mark Warner (D-VA), regional elected officials, academic leaders from George Mason University and Northern Virginian Community College, and fellow representatives from high-tech manufacturing, including Micron and General Dynamics, as well as biomanufacturing start-ups, such as Capra Biosciences.
This sector-specific event was produced in partnership with the Prince William County Department of Economic Development (PWCDED). In addition to the town hall, which featured questions on relevant trends, opportunities, and challenges in the advanced manufacturing sector, over 80 business and community partner attendees contributed in a panel discussion before participating in a factory tour.
