NCS Hosted Senator Mark Warner, Government and Area Manufacturing Leaders at Manufacturing Innovation Event on Friday

The topic: The Future of Advanced Manufacturing in Northern Virginia. Specifically, Manufacturing in Prince William County.

NCS Technologies, Inc. (NCS) in late 2022 opened a new, state-of-the-art 108,000 square-foot energy-efficient headquarters facility in Innovation Park, in Prince William County.

Today, in our new headquarters, NCS hosted a Townhall and Panel Discussion on Opportunities for Advanced Manufacturing. Participants included Senator Mark Warner, County and State officials, Academic leaders and representatives of high tech manufacturers from the surrounding area. The event was held from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. newbuilding-finished

In a Tweet after the event, Senator Warner said, "I was glad to meet with leaders in the advanced manufacturing industry to discuss the wealth of opportunities we have here in NoVa to position ourselves as a leader in this space."

This event aimed to address the most relevant trends, opportunities, and challenges in the advanced manufacturing sector within our region. There was a factory tour, a business leader Townhall, plus a panel discussion that featured distinguished leaders from both the academic and business sectors. These include experts from George Mason University and Northern Virginia Community College, as well as key business executives from our region's manufacturing sector.

This event served as a vital platform for knowledge sharing, idea generation, and networking. We anticipate that this gathering will contribute significantly to shaping the region’s strategic direction in advanced manufacturing and will potentially open opportunities for future partnerships and collaborations.

As a part of opening its new headquarters, NCS in 2022 unveiled an advanced manufacturing line in this new facility that allows NCS to quadruple its manufacturing, integration, and 3D printing capacities. The line is one of the largest and most network capable in the Washington Metropolitan Area.   It will serve as the foundation for NCS to expand its presence in the pre-provisioned IT asset deployment service market.

Founded in 1996, NCS Technologies is a privately held small business specializing in computer manufacturing and system integration. NCS designs and manufactures its products to meet specific security, environmental, and technology requirements. NCS also integrates and delivers computing and printing (including 3D) solutions. Its customers include many federal agencies, all branches of the military, and private corporations.
