Today, Thursday, is the final day for AFCEA TechNet Fort Bragg Symposium & Exposition in Fayetteville. The area is home to nearly 57,000 soldiers making it the most populous Army installation in the country. The Symposium allows vendors to demonstrate innovative products and solutions.
NCS is featuring rugged solutions from Getac. Products on hand include the B300 ultra rugged notebook, the V110 fully rugged convertible, the S410 semi rugged notebook and the F110 fully rugged tablet.
The two products gaining the most attention at the booth are the V110 fully rugged convertible and the X500 ultra rugged notebook and mobile server.
The fourth generation V110 is a compact and lightweight fully rugged convertible that quickly transforms from an 11.6 inch display notebook to a tablet computer. The V110 can be configured with either the latest Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, delivering powerful CPU performance. The convertible features the new Intel HD Graphics 620, providing a high level of responsiveness and frame rate for both 3D graphics and video.
The third generation x500 ultra rugged notebook combines the third generation 3.0 Intel quad-core i7 processor, a 15.6 inch full HD display and generous expansion options. Based on the X500 notebook, the third generation briefcase-size X500 rugged server is a COTS, high performance, mobile rugged server that provides quick deployment and can be easily transported into emergency, disaster and temporary set-up environments.
